Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Prostate Cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK. Last year over 30,000 men were told they had it, and over 10,000 died as a direct result of the disease.

Caldicot Male Voice Choir in association with its cycle club, CMCCC, are staging a number of events throughout 2014 to help raise awareness of this disease.

The choir has been personally touched by this disease in recent times, it is also a very important cause as a man age over 50 has a 1 in 11 chance of being diagnosed with prostate cancer, making it the most frequently diagnosed cancer in men.

The events organised during 2014 will include; a bike ride from Fishguard to Caldicot, a distance of some 180 miles; an endurance bike ride of 12 hours around a 2 mile course; a Charity Golf Day; an Open Practice Concert; a Table Top Sale and a Charity Quiz Night.

We are proud to be associated with this charity and these events will allow us to give something back to those who have helped, and are helping, our loved ones. We ask that you help us to reach our goal and give as generously as you can.

Any donations, no matter the value, would be very much appreciated. The more money raised the better!
