On Sunday 11 October a Calor team of 6 including Managing Director Stephen Rennie, will participate in The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon, a sponsored 13.1 mile run through 's four Royal Parks. Starting and finishing in , the route runs across , St. James’s Park, and .
The Calor team is aiming to raise £10,000 for Calor’s corporate charity (Cardiac Risk in the Young) – an organisation that raises awareness of conditions that can lead to young sudden cardiac death. Every week 12 apparently fit and healthy young people (under 35) die in the from undiagnosed heart conditions. works with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of the young.
