Story

Who said marathons are only for the super fit? Well, whoever they are, they're probably right.

Thank you for your generous donation that will help in the fight against cancer. I understand that money is always tight and the fact that you have donated anything at all shows your true character as a person.

I am currently in training at the moment, focussing on interval training to increase my stamina for the greater challenge in the new year. I have a long way to go and your sponsorship will encourage me on to complete my training and the dreaded Marathon.

A little bit about the marathon:

Initially I was to take part in the Barcelona Marathon in March 2014 but, due to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to run in that Marathon. Since I was unable to run then, I am now running in the Loch Ness Marathon in September 2014 to complete my end of the bargain. So if you would like to encourage me, please donate to this worthy cause.

The Cause:    Why am I running a Marathon?

I decided to run a Marathon as a personal challenge to myself. As many of you know, I am not the most active of people, so this is a way for me to get fit, but also raise money for a worthy cause. This cause is the Worldwide Cancer Research Charity, which as the name suggests, works on an international level to research treatments for cancer, something that almost everyone is effected by, directly or indirectly. So if you want to see me succeed and also feel good in yourself, please donate to my page.

Thankyou again for your generous dontaion.

Calum.
