Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday 28thth June, Bridgewater staff are putting  on their pink T-shirts and walking through Hemel and Berkhamsted at MIDNIGHT!

Why?  to raise much-needed funds for The Hospice of St. Francis, a charity based in Berkhamsted, Herts, who provide expert care for people with life-limiting illness in their Inpatient Unit, at patients’ homes, care homes and in hospital settings.

Ama...zingly, all their care they give is FREE and with the annual cost of running their services amounting to £3.7 million, of which only 20% is funded by the NHS, they rely heavily on people like me to support them.

Here is an example of what you donation could help pay for:
· £10 could cover the cost of a family meal in our Inpatient Unit
· £30 could fund a one-hour home visit by a trained nurse
· £50 could pay for a counselling session for a child experiencing the loss of a loved one
Please support us in this challenge by digging deep and sponsoring us – every penny really will make a big difference
