My story

When a friend of mine Emma told me about the Naked Rollercoaster Ride to help raise money for Breast Cancer Care at Southend hospital I thought what a fun way for people to join together and raise funds for a great cause.

Cancer has been something that has taken and effected people I've cared about many times in my life.
The money from this fund raiser will go towards buying new Mammography Machines and related IT equipment for Southend hospital to help earlier detection of cancer and improve treatment.

When I was offered the opportunity to continue helping this cause by raising a further £1,600 I couldn't turn down the opportunity.

We aim to raise £500,000 to improve mobile breast screening for women of South Essex. This will fund two new mobile units equipped with the latest digital screening equipment, helping provide shorter examination times, better technique & image quality, helping to detect early and small cancers.
