Standing 150ft proud the Clydebank Titan is the world’s first and oldest giant cantilever crane – it is over a century old. The 150 ton A-listed crane was built in 1907 and was used in the fitting out of ships at the John Brown Yard, including the Queen Mary, QE2 and famous battleships such as the HMS Hood.
ON THE 3rd OCTOBER 2009 I WILL BE DESCENDING 150ft INTO DARKNESS WITH ONLY MY NEON SOCKS TO LIGHT THE WAY!
THIS IS THE FIRST EVER NIGHT TIME ABSEIL TO TAKE PLACE ON THE TITAN CRANE, SO PLEASE COME ALONG ON THE NIGHT TO SHOW YOUR SUPPORT.
This will be a spectacular event for the 50 lucky participants, who are all raising money for ENABLE. Please support me and the charity by donating as much as you can. All donations, however small will be put to fantastic use.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
THANK YOU!
