The SYC supports all children through the practice of yoga, with an emphasis on special needs. Yoga develops emotional and physical well being enabling children and adults to reach full potential. They are dedicated to making yoga accessible to all regardless of age, disability, economic status, ethnic background or religion.

My story

Hi,

Thank you for spending the time to visit my just giving page.

Yoga is my passion, i have been practicing for 12 years developing each step on the path.

On Saturday 31st October i will be taking part in the yoga aid challenge, at the yoga show at Olympia London.

The challenge is to complete 108 Sun salutations and raise a minimum of £108.

Up to 300 fellow yogis are expected to participate in this 2 hour challenge.

A challenge? Yes but mind focus will prevail, in all 2592 postures will be sequenced by 9 international teachers.

A wonderful aceivement on my behalf,while making money for a very worthy cause.

Special Yoga Centre
The Special Yoga Centre is a registered charity whose aim is to make yoga accessible to everyone regardless of age, disability, economic status, ethnic background or religion. They are currently helping over 350 children with special needs in a variety of sessions including one to ones, small group classes, schools and in community play schemes. They rely on donations and fundraising to allow them to keep offering yoga classes to all who need them.
