My name is Cayman and I am currently a fifth-year International Affairs and Political Science major at Northeastern University, with minors in Global Social Entrepreneurship, History, and Food Systems, Sustainability, Health, and Equity.

In January 2016, I started a six month internship in Cape Town, South Africa at TSiBA, the Tertiary School in Business Administration, an empowering social enterprise made possible through corporate social responsibility and donations that provides scholarships to disadvantaged students around Cape Town to receive an education in business and entrepreneurial leadership. Individuals who study at TSiBA are not expected to pay back their scholarships, but instead are expected to pay it forward by "igniting opportunity and social change" within their communities.

While I was there in March 2016, I participated in the Cape Town Cycle Tour as a part of TSiBA's team and fundraised for a scholarship. I didn't quite hit my goal; I raised $1,200 of my $3,500 goal.

This coming year in March 2017 I will be participating in the Cape Town Cycle Tour for my second time representing TSiBA, and this time I am determined to hit or exceed my goal of one scholarship! One scholarship for a student to attend TSiBA for a year is about $3,500. All donations go straight to funding a scholarship for a disadvantaged student to attend university at TSiBA. I am paying for all of my own travel costs to participate in the cycling race. By contributing to my campaign, you will empower not just the student that will receive this scholarship, but also the community that student will then take their knowledge back to in order to make a difference.
