In a moment of madness (and one which I can't even blame on being drunk) I agreed to do the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge this coming Saturday (13/04). It will involve climbing up & down three mountains, covering 24.5miles in 12 hours, probably in the snow....ouch!

I volunteer for The Samaritans & my local branch in Waltham Forest had its government funding cut by £10K at the beginning of the year. As a branch we now need to find that cash to keep our building open and running.

We offer a 24 hour confidential listening service, supporting people who are feeling suicidal, who are going through difficult emotional times or who just don't have anyone to talk to...a very valuable service.
