Welcome to my page.I had intended to raise money this year for "Comic Relief" and hopefully raise a total of £10,000 by March 2011. The Fundraising method remains the same and also my target of at least £10,000,but all things changed for me on 12th January 2010.I have watched television coverage of "The Haiti Earthquake" every day, watched it on the internet and like everyone else, read my newspaper and saw the horrific photographs.I have been fundraising now for over 10 years and I am going to use all of my knowledge, experience and connections to raise as much money as I possibly can for Haiti.

I am doing a long term fundraiser, which may take 12 months or more, I am trying to recruit at least 100 brave men,who will each have both of their legs waxed from the knee to the ankle, each participant must try and raise at least £110.

A £10 donation will go to WhisperingWillows in Dumbarton as they are kindly helping out and doing all of the leg waxing, that will pay for their time and labour as they may have to shut up shop sometimes.

The rest of the money will go to a charity called Marys Meals(www.marysmeals.org) who have their HQ in Scotland.

They have been working in Haiti since 2006 and provide up to 13,000 meals daily to children within schools and orphanages in Haiti. As well as giving the children a good meal every day,it encourages the parents to make sure their children attend school. Please have a look at the website and their video on "YouTube",search for Marys Meals Haiti.

If you do not wish to take part, you can always make a donation on this page and when doing so make a comment or two.If you wish to take part in the Leg Wax event please contact me on:07830457335 01389-733966 or 01389-822080.
