Charlie's Challenge raises money to finance urgently needed research into children's brain tumours aiming to provide better treatments for sufferers and eventually to find a cure. With no administration costs, all the money raised is spent on vital research projects vetted by a scientific and medical panel comprising experts from around the UK.

Our personal message:

Please help us raise £20,000 to buy essential equipment for Professor Pilkington's Brain Tumour Research Centre at the University of Portsmouth and this will then be match funded to a total of £200,000.

Professor Pilkington, one of the leading brain tumour research scientists in the country, has built up his laboratories to be the premier brain tumour research centre for the South. Charlie's Challenge is proud to be co-funding 2 crucial brain tumour research projects there.

On the 21st May, Tim Burrough and Nigel Boutwood will be cycling on the 5th leg of a charity bike ride through France which started in 1996 and has so far raised over £100,000 for children's brain tumour research. Please help Tim and Nigel reach their target by sponsoring them online.
