Hey,
My name is Charlotte Burt and I am a student at Durham University. This summer I decided to be pro-active and give something back to charity so I am going to Thailand with Durham Charities Kommittee (DUCK) to work with unfortunate children on the Burmese-Thai border. But in order to do so I must raise about £2,200 to fund my travel expenses and donate money to Baan Romjit and also The Burma Education Partnership.
The Burma Education Partnership is a charity organization which has set up a Mobile Teacher Programme to be able to train teachers in these areas so they can offer the children a better education. Baan Romjit is another charity which was set up to help build a new school and fund the day to day running of the schools. It would be a wonderful opportunity to work with both these charities at the forefront of what they are fighting for.
So please donate money to my cause. It doesn't have to be a big donation, anything is welcome, from 10p to £1 to £10 it all adds up in the end!
