Hello everyone,

Firstly I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, and here is a a little bit about why I am planning to run over 26 miles in a couple of months time.

I have been given this fantastic opportunity through Queen Mary University of London, Provide and READ International, and am really looking forward to working hard to raise money for this great cause.

READ are a network of regional student - volunteer-led projects collecting disused books from schools across the UK. They sort then, match them to the Tanzanian/Ugandan syllabus and, if relevant, we send them to East Africa. Any book not relevant to send (they don't take religious/political books for example? is sold online to generate much needed funding. If it cant be sent or sold, they recycle it, generating more funding. It's a simple process. COLLECT, SORT, GENERATE, DISTRIBUTE, RECYCLE. But then, after they have collected the books from the UK schools they can deliver a free workshop to educate school children about global citizenship and sustainability.

So please dig deep, and donate what you can spare for this worthwhile cause, all donations will be gratefully appreciated and will help to inspire me as the miles go slowly by!
