Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In September 2012 my mum was diagnosed with Stage 2B Breast Cancer. It was an incredibly scary and isolating time for the both of us, but we were fortunate enough to be assigned to the Royal Marsden Hospital for treatment. The kindness and compassion with which the doctors, nurses and day staff at the RM have acted has touched us both and enabled us to face this challenge in a productive and positive way. Getting through cancer treatment this year is going to be a rough road for me and my mum and if it weren't for the support at the Royal Marsden, it would be much much harder.
More than one in three of us will develop some form of cancer in our lifetime, therefore, in order to support their continued fantastic work, I am walking 14 miles from Chelsea to Sutton on the 17th of March 2013 to raise money for the vital cancer research and treatment that is carried out at the Royal Marsden.
So please show your support and donate, whether it's a penny or a 100 pounds! (or dollars!)
