On 25th April, 2010, I am taking part in the London Marathon.  I hope to finish some way before the bloke in the deep sea diving suit (who took a week to complete) and without any assistance from St. John's Ambulance, whilst raising as much money as possible for this fantastic charity.

The Love, Hope and Strength Foundation was co-founded by Mike Peters, lead singer with Welsh rock band The Alarm, following his battle with leukaemia.  The charity is run entirely by volunteers and has, to date, donated thousands of pounds to North Wales Cancer Centres.  Most recently, the charity donated £48,000 to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd Cancer Unit so that they could purchase 2 new scanners.  For those who wish to know more about this charity please visit www.lovehopestrengthfoundation.co.uk
