Join us on Wednesday 2 December 2009 between 5pm and 7pm as Spitalfields Market hosts a carol singing evening in aid of ChildLine, the vital freephone 24 hour helpline service for children and young people.
Carol Singers are a collection of volunteers and staff and we need your help to enable us to answer more calls from children this christmas. Every £4 given on the evening will enable us to answer one more call from a child in need of help or support. We will be in Bishops Square from 5-6pm and then in the market itself from 6-7pm. Please come down and give generously!
Every day, thousands of children and young people need to talk to ChildLine about a problem they face and we want to ensure that every child gets the help they need. However, to do that we need to answer more calls. Currently ChildLine can only answer two-thirds of the 2.3 million calls it receives each year.
All proceeds will go towards our Child's Voice Appeal, which will fund our helpline services and help to ensure that no child's cry goes unheard.
If you would like to fundraise for ChildLine or NSPCC, please contact the Fundraising Team on 020 7650 3426 . To enquire about volunteering with ChildLine email volenquiries@nspcc.org.uk or call 0870 336 2993 to request an information pack about volunteering opportunities.
