This year my Grandad passed away in Sobell house Hospice and in return for how well he was looked after i have decided to donate any money raised by my (half) marathon run to them.
The race is on March 14th 2010. I am currently training to run the whole thing! Not walk!
As many of you well know i am not fit in any way shape or form and this will be a huge challenge. It is 13.1 miles, approximatly 4 laps around the Silverstone Circuit. Anyone is welcome to come watch me suffer/ help me and Gerald to the finish.
Hopefully once this rather large hurdle is cleared then i will be able to apply for the London Marathon the following year.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated both by me and by Sobell House.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, and here is some information on how to donate:
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So please dig deep and donate now.
Thanks again
