Three friends, Mark Thomas, Mike Fealey and I, are cycling 150 miles between NLIAH's office in Wrexham and the main office in Llanharan in South Wales. The journey will be undertaken over 3 days, the 9th to the 11th October. We have each picked a charity and mine is the Alzheimer's Society which I chose after having experienced the devastating effect of dementia upon our family.
After having had a dry September we are fully expecting torrential weather for the weekend and will be relying heavily upon Jacky and Nick, who are driving the support car, for waterproof clothing, multiple gel padded shorts and sustaining chocolate and Strongbow along the way. So much for weight loss.
