Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page...
After my Father completed the 3 Peaks challenge at the ripe old age of 48, I thought I better give it a go and beat his time. So I am joining a team of Canterbury College Staff members, and will be tackling the three highest peaks of the British Isles, aiming to complete in under 24 hours.
Starting on Saturday 23rd June 2012 at 5pm:
Starting off just above sea level at the foot of Ben Nevis in Scotland, we will climb 4,409ft to the summit and back down again to start the journey to Scafell Pike, England. The summit here is a measly 3.209ft above sea level and should take a mere four hours of constant climbing to reach the top and return to base camp. Finally we head to Wales to tackle Snowdon at 3,560 ft. We will hopefully re enter the car park by 5pm completing our mammoth 24 hour challenge!
As well as the climbing we will have to cover around 1360 miles for this challenge that covers three countries.
So please dig deep and donate now
