Story

Well, looks like I am here again... and I need your help again! :P

I've managed to get myself a place to run in Brighton Marathon which takes place on the 6th April 2014 and Marie Curie have given me a place for London Marathon as well (this happens on the 13th April 2014!  So, some may call me stupid, I call it a challenge!  2 Marathons in the space of a week, that's gotta be worth a few quid!

I am hoping that you will dig deep and sponsor me and help me raise these much needed funds!  This is what happens with your money...

  • £20 pays for a Marie Curie Nurse to look after someone with terminal illness for one hour, in the comfort of their own home.
  • £130 pays for someone with a terminal illness to attend day therapy at a Marie Curie Hospice, benefiting from gentle exercise, an art class and more.
  • £180 pays for a Marie Curie Nurse to look after someone with terminal illness for a full nine-hour shift, in the comfort of their own home.
  • £435 pays for someone with a terminal illness to stay in a Marie Curie Hospice for 24 hours, so they can receive the hands-on care they need in their final days.
  • £4,460 will cover the cost of Marie Curie’s entire nursing service across the UK for one hour.
