I shall be raising money for The London Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy. My Godson, Seth Hopkins, had a difficult start in life. Complications including a serious deprivation of oxygen at birth led to months of tests, scans and worry. Luckily for all after 12 weeks Seth has recently been given the all-clear. However, this experience made me think about some new-borns who are not so lucky and trauma at birth affects them for the rest of their lives. Therefore, I will be raising money on my ride for a small charity that works towards providing care and education for children suffering from cerebral palsy, commonly caused by this problem.
