Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the last day of term, Friday 8th April, I will cycle to work from my home near Brentwood to Brightlingsea - a distance of nearly 50 miles. As if this is not sweaty and gruelling enough, I will also cycle the reverse the evening before to familiarise myself with the route, which will hopefully reduce the chance of me getting lost in a field of 'Little Scarlet' strawberries, and being late to work.
The route, indeed, does go via Tiptree:
To promote the idea of cycling to work, I would like to encourage other members of staff from school to join me in cycling the last leg on Friday morning (Either from Elmstead outside Wivenhoe, or from the Brightlingsea/Clacton Road roundabout near Thorrington.) If you're interested please get in touch, grab your bikes and join me!
Through this, I hope to raise money for Joy of Sound, a musical charity which leads the way in creating participatory music workshops for disabled and socially excluded adults in South London. Your money could go towards their outreach work, or towards commissioning wonderful new designs for musical instruments.

It would be great if you could support me in this venture: it will make a big difference!
With kind thanks for your generosity, and happy cycling,
Chris Peugniez.
