In a moment of impluse, madness and feeling fatness I decided to do the London Marathon. After procrasinating for years I was unfortunate enough to get a place running for Lepra so I ran out of excuses and donned my running shoes. Now one half marathon later (Cardiff 2h14mins) and a rapidly expanding pair of runners calves I have started training.
Please support me and my charity as I need something other than my own will and little legs to get me around.
I have been supporting Lepra for years and the work they do really is a matter of life and death for millions of people in the world’s poorest countries there is very little healthcare available. Poor living conditions and nutrition leave people more vulnerable to disease, the physical, social and economic results of which can be catastrophic. For these people, even the most basic of healthcare is an unaffordable luxury.
LEPRA Health in Action currently works in some of the most deprived areas around the world, covering nine countries with a total population of over 300 million.
