This monthly walk is AMAZING!! Not only does it cover the hidden history of Southwark, mental health, culture, art and the city, it is the ONLY walk in London designed and run by a volunteer team, many of whom have experienced mental distress. It is a fantastic stigma busting, brain streatching, health enhancing, art related extravaganza. It was named as one of London's top 10 walks by Time out, but the walk is still planned and run from a building that only has a portaloo, has dodgy taps and no windows. We really need a new building!!
Some participants are on benifits, and the registration fee alone comes to 10% of their weekly income, so every penny counts, when they are being so generous, I really want to help them out by raising some money, and supporting CoolTan.
