Young people and their families achieve their potential . The Life Skills Academy will provide a range of services that

will protect vulnerable young people at risk n the streets, keeping them safe from harm and provide learning and support to families and young people leaving care to enable them to lead independent and healthy lives

My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

WELL! It all began with a glass of wine too many during Christmas 2007, when a group of us committed to running a 5K Race For Life.

A year later, many more glasses of wine consumed, we completed the Manchester 10K in aid of Diabetes UK and Cancer Research. The relief of finishing caught on camera.

NOW in a moment of MADNESS, with less than 2 weeks to go (4th October), Sue and I have signed up to run the Warrington Half Marathon.

Why have I chosen to support 'The Relationships Centre?' Because, one of the aims of this charity is to make sure that every young person who runs away in Warrington for whatever reason (which is not for us to question why), is kept safe. A night on the streets could lead to them being involved in crime, drugs. abuse, forced into prostitution or even killed.

Let's hope our children, relatives or friends' children don't ever require The Relationships Centre's help, but be thankful that this charity is there for them if they do.
