Several years ago when we were informed that our son, Jack, had a 'partial tetrosomy of his chromosome 15' a friend introduced us to Unique. We had been lost and frustrated to receive a doctor's letter which contained barely two sentences and an appointment to see a geneticist a month later, and the internet was full of information too scary to contemplate. When we called Unique it was a relief to speak to someone who could bring us back down to earth. We continue to receive regular newsletters from this charity and would like to be able to give something back to these lovely people.
