My story

I wanted to do this event to help raise money for the 'Children's Clinical Neurosciences Fund' at Manchester Children's Hospital. 

 

All of the money raised will go towards research being conducted by the Children’s Hospital’s Clinical Neurosciences Group, into the physical, social and emotional rehabilitation of children with brain tumours.

It is a fund that is very close to my heart as my son was diagnosed with a brain tumour over a year ago and his treatment is ongoing.  He has been incredibly brave and the way he has dealt with the last 12 months has been an inspiration to me. 

 

Zumba has helped me mentally over the last year dealing with the stresses and strains of having a sick child.  I would like to thank Tracy Taylors Fitness @www.tracytaylorfitness.co.uk. to whom I am very grateful for all her support putting this event together.
