Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have now completed my cycle ride from Lands End to John O'Groats, I completed it on time, with only one puncture to repair, no other mechanical problems.  I did need to re-oil the chain because of the rain and the new brake blocks are nearly worn out, but they are not problems.

New dates for my ride are 5th to 17th September 2010.

am going to cycle from Land’s End to John O’Groats between the above dates, I must get back to Derby on the 8th.  The damage sustained during a training ride has been repaired and now I am all set to do this challenge that I have set myself.

All of these charities support people who suffer from diseases that I have been personally touched by.

My father had lung problems that were caused by materials that he worked with, which led eventually to his death in 2004.  The Research that is funded by the British Lung Foundation will help people in the future, there are many diseases of the lung that the foundation supports reasearch into.  They also fund visits to people work place so that they can have thier lung function assessed, this can help with early diagnosis of problems.
