Story

On June 24th and 25th a team of 50 cyclists are aiming to cycle 300km from London to Paris in 24 hours in support of PLANETS, a charity based at Southampton General Hospital dedicated to defeating Pancreatic, Liver and NeuroEndocrine Tumours. The team comprises patients and relatives as well as Doctors, Nurses and a Radiographer (me), all of whom treat and care for patients with these cancers. There's a good mix of experienced riders and those who have got on a bike for the first time in years just for this challenge. All of us have been training hard since we found out about this event with regular rides to make sure we're ready for the big day.  All monies raised will be used to improve cancer care, research and education.
