Story

Sept 12 update...

Yes we did it, and yes its more nauseating than I thought it could be. Its extermely hot inside the zorb and although it does not go that fast its like being inside a big tumble dryer. I closed my eyes afer the first turn and concentrated on not throwing up, had it gone much further I think I would have.

Carol for her part laughed the whole way down and seemed to enjoy watching my suffering more than anything. Aparently at the end I was hanging upside down with my arms dangling, eyes closed and tongue hanging out !

If you like rollercoasters you will like this, but not for me once was enough and never again.

We got a lovely day for it though and it will always be memorable.

So a big, big thankyou to all who donated both online and off line, the site stays up for 3 months so there still time yet and its a great charity doing great local work and they very much appreicate the funds.

Thanks

Colin :)

OLD STUFF ....

For some mad reason my dear wife has signed me up to go zooming down a hill side in side a giant ball. As somebody who gets motion sick on a bus, I am already feeling quesy at the prospect !

To make matters worse we are both doing this together on the 12th of Sept our Wedding Anniversary so if she gets puke all over her its her own fault but no doubt i will be to blame as usual.

Anyway at least it is all for Charity and as such I need sponsorship to take part in this maddess. You can make a donation as detailed  below.

Please do not feel under any pressure to donate but, even if you can only spare a few quid it will be very gratefully received by the Charity and will support all there good causes and work.

I also promise to video it and put in on the site to let you see the mayhem.

I am sure a few of you would pay to just see me bounced down a hillside !

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
