My story
Colleagues at Andrew Muirhead and at its sister companies within the Scottish Leather Group, together with suppliers and other stakeholders have overwhelmed me by their support for my 95 mile walk next week in aid of With Kids.
With Kids is a small charity doing great work to improve lives and opportunities for a number of needy kids in the communities local to Andrew Muirhead & Son's Dalmarnock Leather Works.
Most people have already pledged support with cash or cheque and this is very much appreciated. This page is set up for anyone who would prefer to donate online.
So go on, donate what you can and convince my soon to be blistered feet that it was all worthwhile!!

Reached Fort William at lunchtime yesterday (Monday) having walked 96 miles in 4.5 days. Blistered heel, aching legs but otherwise feeling good!
A huge thanks to Louise McGowan, Steven Conor, Jacqui Ferguson and my wife Lesley for having done much of the running on securing sponsorship for this great cause...
Just a week to go now before the Walk. The next few days will be the final push both for sponsors and for training. This weekend is going to be busy!
Have had a fantastic response to my original email request for sponsors just two weeks ago. We've already beaten my personal target of raising £5000 for needy kids in the East End of Glasgow. Thank you. A few people have asked me if they can donate on line and now they can!
