Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I've now moved to the Ben Nevis Climb on 14th September 2013 as I was unable to raise the funds to go to China and couldn't put it off another year. My original reasons for fundraising for Breast Cancer Care still stand and I hope you can support my crazy notion that I can climb a mountain!
My trek has now been moved to October 2013 so I have another year to fundraise!
I'm booked on the Trek China challenge in support of Breast Cancer Care and I need to raise £3,200 by August to be able to do it!
Therefore I'm enlisting your help and support! I'm throwing myself in the deep end to train and be able to trek for 6-8 hours for 6 days straight (the most athletic thing I've EVER done!) and also (possibly the biggest thing for me those of you that know I'm a terribly fussy eater!) eating Chinese food!
All of your donations will be much appreciated, it's such a great cause and one that's close to my heart. Many of you may or may not know there's been a fair amount of cancer thats affected my family members and close family friends. I myself also have the BRCA2 breast cancer gene which means I have a higher risk of developing breast or ovarian cancer at an earlier age. Unfortunately for me I have known since I was 18 years old and theres no screening available until I'm 25. Breast Cancer Care also run The Lavender Trust which specifically offers help and support for young women who are affected by cancer.
Breast Cancer Care offer help and support for anyone that has cancer as well as in their families becuase it affects all of us when someone close to us gets cancer.
So please, dig as deep as you can and as Tesco say 'EVERY LITTLE HELPS!' :D
If you'd like to please donate as much as you can, it really does ALL help no matter how big or small!
