Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As you may know, 3 years ago I was diagnosed with Endometriosis after an operation to remove a cyst (and in the end, an ovary too). I had very minimal knowledge of the condition and have since joined the Endometriosis UK charity to gain information about the disease. It has become apparent that this condition affects millions of women and yet there seems to be little awareness of it. I have decided to take the bull by the horns this year and am organising a concert to raise money for the charity and also much needed awareness. This is happening at 7.30pm on 29th May 2010. The venue is Perrins Hall, part of the Royal Grammar School in Worcester. Enclosed is a flyer with details about the concert which I hope you will be able to come to. I have roped in colleagues, friends and family to perform. (Matthew Drury, Bernie Hodges, John Todd, Joe George, David Taylor, Richard Whitham, Ian King, Helen Izod, Sian Todd, Claire King, Bryony Tindall ) and there will be a real mix of music. The performers are all giving up their time and talents for free in the hopes that YOU will buy a ticket and come to hear us. Please let me know by phone or email how many tickets you would like or if you would like to put up a poster for us. I hope you will be able to join us for an evening of music and drinks in Worcester. Thanks and Best Wishes,
