My story
Please Note: The total shown on this JG page is the amount of money actually donated so far, whilst the Cothill website shows the total amount the boys stand to raise if they complete their sponsored walk, and if all of their sponsors pay up. At the end of the campaign, the two amounts will hopefully match each other!
Welcome to Cothill House's fundraising page. This year we are trying to raise funds for the RAF Wings Appeal, by challenging the boys to undertake a 10 mile sponsored walk for the charity. In support of our efforts, 'The Blades' aerobatic team will perform a private display above the school on Sports Day, and 4 lucky individuals will be selected to go up and fly with them too! Other aerobatic events are in the pipeline, including a parachute display by the RAF Falcons on 4th May, and possible flypasts by the Red Arrows and a Spitfire too!
Please help the boys in this challenge. The more money they raise, the more chance they have of winning in the 'Fly with The Blades' draw. The same goes for you - for every £10 that you sponsor them, you will earn a lucky ticket (in your name) for the draw as well. So it's the opportunity of a lifetime that is open to everyone, not just the boys!
As well as the walk, fundraising activities will include eBay charity auctions, Silent Auctions (using email bidding), various organised school events, and a live auction for parents on Sports Day itself.
