Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. On the 5th March 2011, I will take on the mammoth challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise much needed funds for Bolton Lads and Girls Club! Taking the Rongai route up to the 19,340 foot summit, Craig and the team have set down the gauntlet of completing the mammoth climb in just 10 days to raise £13,000 for the charity’s mentoring scheme. The money raised will help to support the clubs mentoring scheme which provides one on one mentoring for children who have been born into unfortunate circumstances including child abuse, abandoned at birth, poverty. As a charity the club as seen funding fall hugely over the last few years – this year alone Council funding as been slashed by over £380,000. This is compounded when you understand that other local children’s facilities have closed down completely and therefore the club is feeling the pressure of more needy children and less money to help them. I know many of you have supported the club over the years and we are really grateful for that support. I'm sure you know the Bolton Lads & Girls Club do rely on your support so please dig deep and donate now. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
