We are fighting to make a world where diabetes does no harm

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 10/10/10 myself and my friend Graham Reid, will run the Chicago Marathon. My chosen charity is Diabetes UK.
Diabetes UK is one of the largest funders of diabetes research in the UK - aiming to spend over £6 million a year on developing better treatment, preventing diabetes and finding a cure. Find out more: http://www.diabetes.org.uk/

From a personal point of view, my dad suffered from diabetes and ultimately succumbed to some of the related complications it can bring. In addition, my brother, mother-in-law and brother-in-law, all currently live with the disease and the inconveniences it can bring. The cause is therefore important to me.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

In addition, my employer runs a scheme which means any money I raise, they will match (up to $1000!!), so even a little donation will help as it will get doubled!

So please dig deep and donate now to this worthwhile charity!
