Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Many of will not know but over the last few months Craig Wilson and Wayne Fredericks have been (RIGOROUSLY!) training for the Great North Run 2009! The decision to run in this year's event was rather thrust upon Craig by his best mate Wayne when he had a massive hangover the day after they'd been to a wedding. However, we have both thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and have loved making different breakthroughs each time we get past a certain distance. The charity we have chosen is the Youth Sport Trust which aims to 'build a brighter future for young people through PE and sport'. You never know it could even go towards helping to find the next Paula Radcliffe or Chris Hoy and give Britain an excellent chance of bringing home lots of Gold medals in the London 2012 Olympics!
Sorry that there are no photos of us on here and that the sight is rather boring but time is running out and b) there are no photos of us in training! Craig would like to thank his girlfriend Lisa who has been training with him (she's doing the Great South Run) and she's been excellent at kicking me out of bed on Saturday mornings and making us pound the streets whatever the weather, thanks babe and good luck with your run in October xx
Wayne would like to thank all his wonderful fans and says he doesn't really like Man United as much as he makes out!!!
