Last year Andy was diagnoised with a malignant brain tumour, during his fight he has been provided with immense support from the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust. He would like to show his appreciation by raising funds to help them to continue to support families in a similar position. Andy will be running the London 10K with his his good mate Steve (Billy) and his wife Cath. Cath will also be taking part in the Edinburgh Marathon (27th May) and the Great North Run (30th September) 

Andy's wife Sharon held a coffee morning on the 9th March to  help raise the profile of the charity, she raised a fantastic sum of £2834.82. Thank you to everyone who helped out and supported this event.  

Thanks to everyone that has signed our sponsorship form, to date people have pledged £700.00.

As you can see from the photo, we all successfully completed the London 10k. What a fantastic day it was. Andy has received a huge total of £14,000 in sponsorship for his achievement.    

During July Andy and Sharon also held a charity luncheon raising further money for the charity. Where do these two get their energy from? 

As we move into September there is only the Great North run to complete. I will then be badgering all those people who have pledged money for their hard earned cash.
