The Rememberance Ride · 17 September 2009

O2e encourages and supports ordinary people to achieve extraordinary sporting and physical challenges. In so doing O2e aims to raise substantial sums of money to support terminally ill and disabled children and their families.

Story

On 17-18th September up to 100 riders of mixed age, ability and mental capacity set off from The Cenotaph in London, following the 2007 Tour de France opening stage route to Canterbury and on to Dover. Then across to Calais and on to Belgium. 200 miles in total in 2 days, complete madness for me and a sore derriere guaranteed!

At Ypres we ride through The Menin Gate memorial to the missing - hopefully none of us will be missing at that point and attend a service before riding on to the end at Bruges.

Please support this event, all riders pay their own expenses so every penny raised goes to help the 4 kids charities selected this year. Please boost your contribution using Gift Aid, thank you.
