Dumball 2012: Back to Black

Antony Jones, Neil McDonald, Jim Head and Paul Cuthbertson are taking part in Dumball 2012: Back to Black - a mad dash (it's not a race!) across Europe in a load of old bangers. Dumball 2012 promises to be bigger and even better than ever. We are driving to the Ukraine via no less than 14 amazing countries, fundraising for Teenage Cancer Trust as we go. As well as driving the length of Italy, zipping through Albania, and hitting the Carpathian mountains in Romania, we are visting Moldova and Ukraine for the first time ever. Check out the route map here

Here's what this sorry bunch of misfits had to say when they applied to join the dumball:

We're a ukulele toting reminder of the past - in an exotic (ish) wreck, we'll power round the world bringing musical delight (ish) to all, and a jarring reminder of better days.

And it's all for charity. Who knew.

Now the important bit. Since 2007, the dumball has been raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust to build a state-of-the-art unit at a recognised centre of excellence, the Royal Marsden Hospital. This is now open, thanks in part at least to the fundraising efforts of Dumballers. Help TCT with their next major projects by donating today.
