Both Wez and Jay successfully completed their task of cycling 495km from to , however both admitted the journey was more difficult than they had originally perceived!

After a chilly start on Day One the boys got into their stride, however towards the North Downs Jay felt the pressure of the strenuous terrain and threw a tantrum, refraining from talking to the others for the next twenty miles!!

On Day Two Wes sustained a knee injury (which he’s still nursing!!) and cycled the remaining 50 miles that day with one active leg. However, lack of sleep (snoring issues from other cyclists) and incorrect equipment (Wes insisted mountain bikes were the way forward unlike all others who understood the need for road bikes!) did not stop them from keeping the pace.

After four days of cycling and months of training Wes and Jay have raised an online total donated via justgiving.com of £4,687.00, with an additional £1,158.00 donated offline. Therefore, the total so far stands at £5,845.00 with donations still coming in.

The boys would like to give everyone a huge thank you for all your support and generosity which will assist Kent Cancer Trust in helping those who are suffering from Cancer and its effects throughout .
