My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Being a hillwalker myself I would like to support the Aberdeen Mountain Rescue Team by taking part in their major annual fund raising event. Their Sponsored Walk takes place on Saturday 9th of June 2012 and I've decided to walk the long route of 25km.
I've enjoyed the walk last year despite hurting feet in the end and hope that many of you decide to fund me again this year. Whether you're a hillwalker yourself or your loved ones enjoy a day out, supporting local mountain rescue teams helps to make hillwalking just that little bit more safe.

I've successfully completed the 25km walk yesterday. Walking through clouds and mist made it a truly Scottish experience while spells of sunshine helped me to make it to the finish line. Thank you so much to all who donated on my page. :-)

Aberdeen & St John Mountain Rescue Association
Charity Registration No. SC003177
Aberdeen Mountain Rescue carries out search & rescue operations in the eastern Cairngorms. It operates from a base provided by the Order of St John and runs three vehicles and trailers. Annual costs are in the region of £30k and AStJMRA plays a major part in raising this finance.
