<p>John, Gaz, Mike, Mark, Tone, Simon, Mark and Tyler and a big thank you to Daryl who came to pick us up - Thanks lads, great effort by all of you, a smashing day with a smashing set of blokes. Next destination - Paris!</p>
<p>It will be an absolute pleasure to present the hospital with our cheque, well done everybody, and once again, many, many thanks for your support.</p>

<p>On January 10th this year, my wife Helen age 36, suddenly collapsed at our factory in Stoke. </p>
<p>It transpired that she had suffered a massive stroke, and in turn she was operated on by Dr. Natarajan of the North Staffs Hospital.</p>
<p>Using pioneering techniques, she made a full recovery and is now back on the road to a normal life again.</p>
<p>Amazingly, the procedure used to save Helens life may be under threat from cutbacks in funding, and in order to help Dr. Natarajan and his team, and to say 'Thank You' for something which can never be thanked enough, I am trying to raise some money for the Acute Stroke Unit at the North Staffs Hospital by cycling to Rhyl on the 6th August 2011 (approx. 75 miles). </p>
<p>Please help by making a donation to a fantastic department which saved my wifes life and will save others too.</p>
