I discovered my passion for running this year and I am seizing the opportunity to raise as much money as possible for Feed The Children (UK). I have been really privileged to be awarded a secure place in The Virgin London Marathon on April 17th 2011, by this amazing charity, who are devoted to helping children around the world.
The charity works hard both in the UK and abroad helping children in situations of famine and poverty by creating sustainable communities. In the UK Feed The Children help many children in deprived areas through their breakfast clubs. I want to raise money through something I love doing to help children who are unable to help themselves, from schooling to abandoned children and babies. It costs just £7,000 to send over £300,000 of donated aid to where it is needed in the world, whether it be in areas of poverty or conflict and disaster. Just £7,000 can help improve so many children's lives.
So please dig deep and donate now if for nothing else, the comedy of me running is worth a few pounds ;D
