In February a team of six is going out with Friends in Action to the North East of Burkina Faso with an aim to drill four wells.  The area is a desert region on the edge of the Sahara, temperatures typically 40 degrees, going up to high-fifties in the dry season.  The area is far from any civilization or large towns with limited resources.  The people of the area have dug their own small wells which is similar in quality to us drinking our sewage.

Friends In Actions Part

Friends in action has a drilling rig which allows them to drill down 300ft to the water table and pipe clean, mineral water up to the surface as well as finishing it with a hand operated pump for the local people to use.

With Friends in Action we will be using this opportunity to enter into the native peoples villages to spread the gospel of Christ. Many tribal men, women and children have still not heard the Gospel and we purpose to press forward in doing God’s work in assisting to “reach the unreached”.
