Hello! My name is Daniel Hutton, a singer and cyclist from Harrogate in England. In August and September 2011 I cycled 3000km in seven weeks round Iceland, solo and unsupported, raising money for Ljosid in Reykjavik and Carers' Resource in Harrogate - the one helping those with cancer in Iceland, the other helping carers in Yorkshire. This page supports both of these charities equally so half of all donations will go to each.
I stayed wherever possible with Icelandic people during my trip, and in return for a bed for the night and something to eat, I put on a solo concert for my hosts, with a variety of music from Italian arias and English folksong to gospel, rock, even songs from the shows (and others by request)!
