My story
I'm facing my biggest challenge to date - an ultra marathon - thats 70 miles from Carlisle Castle to the Gateshead Millennium Bridge. You could call this City to City, Coast To Coast or Castle to Castle or "The Wall".
I'm running in memory of my late father George. Sadly I lost my dad, George, to cancer in March 2009. Running Marathons provides an opportunity to raise sponsorship and as so many people are, or have family and friends affected by cancer, they are always willing to support a local charity which provides practical, social and emotional help and support in our district for cancer patients, carers, families and bereaved people.

The event went well despite the driving rain. Finsh time 12hours 39mins 69miles! Position 25th out of 240 runners absolutely delighted with that. I'll post the full amount raised on here once its collected. Massive thanks for your continued support its means a great deal x
