Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
For those who don't know me, my name is Darroch McCartney, but for the purposes of this event you can just call me 'victim'. Having realised that I would be hopeless at many, more traditional forms of fundraising, I have opted to undergo a full body wax in aid of a fantastic school in Scotland called Corseford School, which is serviced by Capability Scotland. This school provides specialist education for children and young people ranging from 5 to 18 with complex physical support needs, and uses a range of purpose built facilities to cater for the needs of its pupils. Please have a look at http://schools.capability-scotland.org.uk/corsefordschool.aspx if you want to find out more.
So the date has been set as the 7th of August 2010 at high noon, courtesy of Lindsay at 'Blush' in Miller Hairdressing, The Village in East Kilbride. I will put up some before photos soon, and some after photos once its been done so you can all have a good old laugh...
Please dig deep and give whatever you can, even if its just some spare change as its going to a fantastic cause. Thanks in advance,
Victim.
