What to get the man who has everything? A brand new golden chopper of course! err no actually........
We'd like to celebrate Daves birthday and show our appreciation to a charity close to all our hearts, Surrey Air Ambulance Fund. After a serious RTA Dave was attended by the medical team from HEMS and 'choppered to Royal Surrey Hospital. So why £600? The quote below from the Surrey Air Ambulance website says it best:
There is a golden hour between life and death. If you are critically injured, you have less than 60 minutes to survive. You might not right then; it might be three days later or two weeks later. But something has happened in your body that is irreparable. R. Adams Cowley.
£600 is all it takes to get 60 minutes, that vital Golden Hour, of chopper time!
As you'll know Dave is the most generous of men. So please give generously in your best DSM style.
Just imagine how touched and honoured he'll be if we raise a golden minute for each year of his life. And brilliantly you'll receive in exchange the wonderful golden glow of knowing that your money helped to raise a chopper in daves honour for a whole bloomin' hour. More than enough to make any man proud!
with many thanks from George and Danielle. As Dave would say 'We are obliged!'
