It has been my 5 year goal to complete an Ironman.  In my first year of triathlon after many years of playing football I completed my first sprint triathlon, after joining Evesham Vale Triathletes.  The following year I completed the Sandwell standard / olympic distance with Paul Fensome.  In 2013 I completed the Avenger middle distance triathlon at Ragley hall with Sara Turner, Chris Reed and Lou Bugg.  Last year I completed the long Course Weekend at Tenby, a tough Ironman over 3 days with Sara Turner and was joined by good black pear jogger friends Jon Shacklock, Bethan Stimson and Anthony Jones, as well as my EVT friends Ezbe and Lou Bugg.

This year is my 5th year I decided to complete LCW for a second time but have been persuaded by Paul Fensome to complete Outlaw.  LCW is now out of the way and I have just over 2 weeks to recover for OUTLAW!!!  

It is with thanks to the amazing charity The Karen Green Foundation who have given me this great opportunity to complete in the OUTLAW Ironman Triathlon.  I would like to raise as much money as possible to help their cause.

I have to thank Ruth Minors the leader of my super support crew, along with Laura Bessant, George Bessant, William Bessant and mum and dad as well as my BPJ and EVT friends who have kept me going through the last 5 years of  training
